Heinrich Böll Foundation Scholarship - Master’s and PhD in Germany 2027
Opportunity summary
The Heinrich Böll Foundation supports international graduate and doctoral students from DAC member countries (including Morocco) who wish to pursue their studies in Germany. This programme aims to promote equal opportunities and fair access to higher education across all academic disciplines.
Applicants must be admitted to a public university or a state‑recognised university in Germany. For Master’s students, the programme must have a standard duration of at least four semesters. Priority is given to students who have not yet lived in Germany at the time of their application.
The selection process consists of three stages: written dossier assessment, interview with a liaison officer, and a digital interview with a selection committee. Scholars receive a monthly financial grant, the amount varying by level of study, as well as access to an alumni network and support programmes.
