Privacy policy

1. Data controller

The controller of the data collected on MaBourse.ma is the site publisher, reachable at [email protected] (subject "Privacy") or through the Contact page.

2. Data we collect

• Account data (if you sign up): full name, email address, encrypted password, preferences (countries, levels, fields followed).
• Usage data: favourites, alerts created, pages viewed, interactions with listings - used to run the service.
• Technical data: truncated IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed - for security and statistics.
• Messages: content of requests sent through our contact and reporting forms.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the service (account, favourites, email alerts) - performance of the contract.
• Improving the site (audience statistics) - legitimate interest, with cookies subject to consent.
• Cookie-free audience measurement (Google Analytics in Consent Mode v2) - legitimate interest: until you have given consent, the Google tag sets no cookie and only sends technical signals without cookies.
• Displaying advertising that funds the service - consent (see § 6).
• Security (fraud and abuse prevention) - legitimate interest.

Processing is carried out in accordance with law no. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data (Morocco) and, for the users concerned, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

4. Newsletter and email alerts

Newsletter subscription and alert creation use a double opt-in: you receive a confirmation email before anything is activated. Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately.

5. Data sharing

We neither sell nor rent your personal data. It is shared only with:

• our technical providers (hosting, email delivery, audience measurement), within the limits of their mission;
• our advertising partners, within the framework described in § 6 and according to your consent choices;
• the competent authorities, only when the law requires it.

6. Advertising and third-party cookies (Google AdSense)

The Site displays ads to fund its free operation. Accordingly:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site or other websites.
• The use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to tailor the ads shown to you.
• You can turn off personalised advertising at any time in Google Ads Settings and at www.aboutads.info/choices.
• Without consent, the ads shown are non-personalised (contextual); the consent banner lets you accept or refuse at any time via the "Manage my cookies" link in the footer.

7. Retention periods

• Account: kept while it is active; deleted within 30 days of your deletion request.
• Contact messages: 12 months.
• Technical logs: 6 months maximum.
• Cookies: see the detailed durations in the cookie policy (13 months maximum).

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing). To exercise them: [email protected] (subject "My data") - reply within 30 days. You may also contact the CNDP (National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection, Morocco) or your local data protection authority.

9. Security

Hashed passwords, HTTPS-encrypted connections, restricted and logged access, regular backups. As no system is infallible, we will inform you of any incident affecting your data, as required by law.

10. Changes

Any change to this policy is published on this page with its update date. Important changes are notified to you by email if you have an account.
