Academic Mobility & International Exchange Grants

Completing an academic semester or research internship abroad enriches your academic, linguistic, and intercultural development.

International Mobility Opportunities for University Students

Academic mobility allows students to complete a semester or full academic year, or conduct specialized laboratory research abroad while retaining active enrollment in their Moroccan university. Stays are facilitated through bilateral partnerships, dual-degree agreements, or multilateral programmes such as Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM).

These schemes provide monthly maintenance grants to assist with housing and living costs, full tuition waivers at the host institution, and fixed contributions toward international transport expenses.

Academic Recognition and Eligibility Terms

A key strength of accredited university mobility is guaranteed academic recognition:

  • The Learning Agreement: formal pre-approval of courses taken abroad by academic coordinators at your home institution in Morocco.
  • Credit transfer: successfully completed credits are integrated directly into your Moroccan degree via the ECTS framework.
  • Merit-based institutional quotas: available exchange positions are allocated based on cumulative semester grades and student motivation.

Planning a Successful Exchange Project

Consult the international relations office at your home university or engineering school to identify existing bilateral partnerships. Validate language proficiency prerequisites, submit internal dossiers promptly, and arrange consular visa requirements upon selection confirmation.
