Study in Canada Scholarships for Student Mobility - 2026-2027 Cycle
Opportunity summary
The Study in Canada Scholarships (SCS) program enables students enrolled in partner institutions abroad to undertake short-term mobility for study or research purposes. Funded by Global Affairs Canada, it aims to strengthen international cooperation and interpersonal ties.
For Moroccan students, this program represents a unique opportunity to enrich their academic journey within a designated Canadian university. Applications are not submitted individually: Canadian higher education institutions select participants and submit the files.
Scholarship recipients receive financial support covering living expenses, while tuition fees must be waived by the host Canadian institution. The duration of stays ranges from one to six months depending on the level of study, whether undergraduate or graduate.

This program is intended for international students meeting the following conditions:
- Hold Moroccan nationality.
- Be enrolled full-time in a post-secondary educational institution.
- Pay the tuition fees required by the home institution.
- Not hold or apply for Canadian citizenship or permanent residency.
- Not already be enrolled in a degree program in Canada.
Benefits and funding
- Allowance of $10,200 for a 4-month stay or one semester at the college, undergraduate, or graduate level.
- Allowance of $14,000 for a 5 to 6-month stay at the graduate level for research or studies.
- Exemption from tuition fees by the host Canadian institution.

How to apply, step by step
- Check eligibility with your school. Contact the international relations office of your Moroccan institution to learn about existing exchange agreements with Canada.
- Prepare the internal file. Provide the supporting documents requested by your university to be included in the candidate selection.
- Wait for nomination. The partner Canadian institution conducts the final selection and submits the official nomination on the My EduCanada portal.
- Finalize mobility. Once selected, organize your departure and obtain the necessary administrative documents for your stay in Canada.
Direct student applications are not accepted. The submission of files is carried out exclusively by Canadian educational institutions.
