Studying in France: The Campus France Morocco Procedure Explained Step by Step
Published on
France remains the top destination for Moroccan students. Every application to French higher education goes through the "Études en France" platform, managed by Campus France Morocco. Here is the complete process.
1. Create your file on the Études en France platform
Online file creation generally opens in October for the following academic year. You enter your background, transcripts, study project and course choices. The application fee is waived for candidates for French government scholarships.
2. Make your choices and validate them
The procedure differs depending on the level: first-year bachelor's through the DAP procedure (prior admission request), master's through the standard "Études en France" procedure. Each choice must come with a carefully written statement of purpose, which is often the first thing programmes read.
3. The Campus France interview
After the academic review, an individual interview assesses how coherent your project is and your level of French. Be ready to explain why this programme, why France, and what your professional plan is after returning. Memorised answers work against you: the panel expects a personal, realistic project.
4. Admission and visa application
Once admitted, the long-stay student visa application is made through France-Visas, with the admission certificate and proof of resources and accommodation. Allow several weeks: start as soon as you receive your admission.
Funding your studies
The procedure is independent of funding. Alongside your Campus France file, submit your scholarship applications: Eiffel excellence scholarships, French government scholarships, regional or institutional scholarships.
